About My Work

I’ve always like to incorporate bright colors in my works and my source of inspiration comes from Andy Warhol, whose works are respected by many.

My work suggests one people, one nation, one Singapore. The crescent moon represents a young nation on the rise. The five stars stand for the ideals of democracy, peace, progress, justice and equality. The Vanda Miss Joaquim reflect Singapore's continuous quest for progress and excellence in all aspects of life, and its natural resilience which reflects the determination of the Singaporean people to stand fast through difficult times.
